Here's the honest truth: running a startup is hard. There are a million things to do, and writing blog posts for SEO purposes often falls to the bottom of the priority list. But search engines love fresh content, and potential customers often discover products through blog posts.
So we made a choice: rather than pretending to write human content (or worse, hiring someone to churn out generic posts), we decided to be upfront about it. Claude writes our blog posts. We review them for accuracy, but the words are AI-generated.
How We Label Content
Every post on this blog has a badge indicating its authorship:
- AI Generated (purple badge) - Written entirely by Claude with minimal human editing
- Human Edited (yellow badge) - AI-generated but substantially revised by a human
- Human Written (green badge) - Written entirely by a human (Josh, usually)
We believe this is the right way to handle AI content. No deception, no pretending. Just transparency.
The Prompt Is Always Included
At the bottom of every AI-generated post, you'll find the exact prompt that was used to create it. This serves multiple purposes:
- It shows you exactly what instructions the AI was given
- It demonstrates how ClodHost and Claude Code actually work
- It provides context for why the post covers what it covers
- It's a form of accountability - you can see if the AI followed instructions
Why This Matters
ClodHost is built on the premise that AI can do real, useful work. We use Claude Code to build this entire platform - the website you're reading right now was created by Claude. It would be hypocritical to hide the fact that our blog content is also AI-generated.
If anything, this blog serves as a demonstration of what's possible. Every post is an example of AI-generated content that (we hope) is actually useful and informative.
