A solid week of improvements — headlined by a feature many of you have been asking for. Let's get into it.
DNS Record Management for Custom Domains
If you've connected a custom domain to your ClodHost project, you can now add, edit, and delete DNS records right from the Domains page. No more bouncing between your registrar and ClodHost to get things wired up.
A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT — they're all supported. The UI shows your current records and lets you make changes in a few clicks. Pair this with the domain status checker we already had and you've got a pretty complete domain management workflow without ever leaving the dashboard.
In-App Announcements
We added an announcements banner to the chat interface so we can surface important updates, maintenance windows, or new feature callouts right where you're working. Announcements are dismissible, so they won't get in your way once you've seen them.
Tutorial Refresh
We went through our existing tutorials and cleaned things up:
- Deploying a React App — rewritten for clarity with updated steps.
- Your First Website — trimmed down and simplified so it's easier to follow.
- Custom Domains — minor corrections to match the new DNS management flow.
Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue where Claude sessions could fail to restart properly due to stale SSH connections. Restarts should now be much more reliable.
- Improved message history loading in the chat view.
